Get To Know Me

The Story So Far..

I wasn’t unhappy. I just knew there was more.

After over a decade in HR, I had a career most people would’ve called successful. Good job, good salary, all the things you’re supposed to want. And I was grateful for it. But somewhere along the way, fine stopped being enough.

At the end of 2023, I went on my first ever solo trip. I’d been putting it off for years – waiting for friends to be free, for the timing to be right, for someone to come with me. Sound familiar?

Something clicked on that trip. I pushed myself way out of my comfort zone and discovered a version of myself I didn’t know was there. Calmer. Braver. More certain of what I actually wanted. Solo travel gave me a freedom and confidence I hadn’t known I was missing and it taught me that you really don’t need to wait for anyone else to start living the life you want.

That trip changed the way I saw everything. Including my career.

So I made a decision.

In July 2025, I quit my job, got my TEFL qualification, and moved to Bangkok alone, at 33, to a country I’d never even set foot in before. Not because I had everything figured out but because I’d finally stopped letting fear and logistics be the reason I didn’t go.

I’m still here. I teach English at a Thai school, travel solo across Southeast Asia whenever I get the chance, and feel more like myself than I did in the decade before I left.

Always Go Anywhere is for women who are done waiting.

Maybe you keep saying “I’d love to travel more” but the timing never seems right. Maybe your friends aren’t as keen as you, or your schedules never align, and the trip keeps getting pushed back. Maybe you’ve thought about going solo but it feels more daunting than exciting right now and you’re not sure where to even start.

I’ve been in every one of those places. This is the space I wish had existed when I was sitting at my desk in London, quietly Googling destinations I wasn’t sure I’d ever actually visit.

Here you’ll find honest travel guides and solo travel tips from real experience. A look at what life actually looks like when you decide to do something differently. And soon, small, curated group trips for women who want the freedom of solo travel with the joy of doing it alongside the right people.

No packages. No faff. Just real travel, real talk, and a community of women who get it.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for stick around. The best trips start with a single decision. 💙
